I was invited to do the soft reset because I noticed that ActiveSync on the iPaq couldn't be started. What have I done? I did a soft reset on the iPaq and hey presto, it connects now. However, I am happy to say that I solved the problem after spending several hours on the subject. I'm afraid to say that the support system missed me at this opportunity.
